The purpose of the GSCA shall be as follows:

  • The Promotion and encouragement of organized sporting clay shooting among residents of the State of Georgia.
  • To increase among GSCA's members the knowledge of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved shotgun marksmanship.
  • To forward the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance which are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism. 

 

    2011 Georgia State Sporting Clays Championships Dates Moved!
  The 2011 Georgia State Shoot will be held the second weekend in June, 2011 or June 10-12, 2011 at Cherokee Rose Sporting Resort near Griffin, GA. The dates were moved because of the conflict with the World English Sporting Clays Championships to be held in San Antonio, TX the first weekend in May 2011. 
  The Georgia State Shoot will return to it's traditional date of the first weekend in May, 2012.
